... Sexy? Intelligent? Chic? But mostly... don't I look sexy?

I have really good eyesight. I don't need glasses. But, not so secretly, sometimes I wish I did - for the fashion!

Totally hot chicks made even hotter by the glasses they wear. 

The other day, I realized that my husband, who does wear (eyeglasses) accidentally left his at home on the bathroom counter. I sent via text the above picture to him to let him know... his response?

... well, let's just say he found the image to be, erm, attractive. See? Point proven.

In this family, two of us actually have an eyeglasses prescription, that would be (1) my husband and (2) my stepson, Cameron.

Don't they look adorable in their glasses?

Yet, we all like to pose in Daddy's glasses. :)

And sometimes, glasses are the BEST props for funny/cute/awesome pictures.

( Okay, so maybe that was a gratuitous excuse to post cute pictures of us. )

So, to have some more spectacled fun, the other night I navigated my bored self over to GlassesUSA.com and virtually tried on some frames. These were my favorite.

This is what I think of GlassesUSA and their Virtual Mirror:

1.) It's kind of/a lot of fun.

2.) I totally look like Lisa Loeb in these frames.

3.) I don't really understand how they can sell such cheap glasses, but they do.

4.) I have something to look forward to when I grow old(er) and actually (maybe) need glasses.

Something Funny

Today, at 20 months old, was the very first time Zoie Rainbow Deneweth drank out of a bottle. 

 

She was a breastfed baby up until 18 months old and would never take a bottle. Not even a pumped breast milk bottle from Daddy.

This morning, Christopher took the few baby bottles I had saved for 'just in case' out of the cupboard to get rid of.  Of course, they were soon spotted and she wanted her 'joo' (juice) in 'dat' (pointing to the baby bottle). So we obliged. It was silly, she tried to suck on the nipple like a straw and it took her a few minutes to get the hang of it.

Then she carried the bottle around all morning.  I was a little nervous we would have an issue, but she forgot about it and we made it disappeared. Phew!

Should I put it in her baby book?

Funny Things

1. I picked Roxy up from school today and asked what she did. She told me they played tennis.

Me: (surprised) Really?!? So tell me how you played tennis.
Roxy: Well, we used those balls that doggies play with.  

(You know the ones... tennis balls...)

2. Every time I point a camera at this girl, this is the face I get.

3. Speaking of Roxy and puppies. Roxy got her face painted the other day at the Y.

That night, I put the kids in the bath:

Me: Oh no. The puppy is going to go away.
Roxy: It's not a sad day. I was just transforming into my ultimate form.

4. I tried out Body Pump yesterday. And today, I need crutches.

5. Remember my new goal? To quit yelling? Every now and then, Riley will look at me, so seriously and very mature-like and say, "Mommy. This is your warning. Next time you yell, it's a time out."

I love how that kid keeps me in check. :)
